The Great Roadmap Project

Activities > 2008/09 > Projects

Inspired by a recent TV advert the children of the Middle Room have decided to keep track of their comings and goings using a roadmap of Ireland and a highlighter. Everytime a student travels somewhere new they are allowed to highlight the road they took on the map in orange marker. It is an interesting way to improve the childrens map reading skills while at the same time giving them a better understanding of the position of Ballingarry in relation to the rest of the country. We will update the photo of the map at the end of each term so stay tuned.
