Ballingarry awoke to a 'brat ban sneachta' on Monday, January 19th. Most of our students braved the icy roads to get to school and were rewarded with an extended playtime and a snowman making competition.
When I woke up this morning I ran to the window and looked out and all I saw was snow. My first thought was that we had no school. When I got to school and found out that there was school I thought 'Oh No!' until Mrs Noonan said that we could play in the snow. Marie, Katie, Rachel, Gerard and I made a snowwoman. We used Maria's hat and scarf for her. We called her 'Snowy'. We all had a great day.

On Monday morning when I woke up there was snow everywhere. I was listening to Tipp FM to see if there was any school. The bus came. When we got to school Mrs. Noonan let us play in the snow for a while. We made giant snowballs. At break time we made snowmen. Our group made a snowlady. We called her 'Snowy'. She kept on breaking. We put a hat and a scarf on her. It was fun.

This morning I woke up and I looked out the window and I saw snow so I thought that we would have no school. I went down to the kitchen and I got my puppy. I brought it down to my bed and we went under the blankets. My dog fell asleep.
Then we got up and I went to hear if we had any school on the radio. The radio said nothing so after a while I got dressed for school. The bus came. I still thought that we would have no school but when we got there I found out that we did. We were allowed to play in the snow and make snowmen. We made one but at small break we started kicking one and it broke.
At lunchtime I was playing in the snow again. After that we looked at all the pictures taken from today and a video of us playing in the snow.
