Fifth Class student Shannon Dunne brought somebody to meet the students....

Today, Shannon brought 'Smurf' her dwarf hamster into school and we got to see her. Smurf is female. She is about a year old. Shannon got her in Galway.
Smurf is very small. She eats nuts and hamster flakes. She drinks lots of water. She is nocturnal as she stays awake at night and sleeps during the day. She is a rodent as well because her two front teeth stick out. Smurf is very cute and tiny.

Smurf is Shannon Dunne's hamster. She is so cute. She has an orange and blue cage with a slide in it. She is one year old. Shannon's mam got her in Galway. She is nocturnal which means she sleeps in the day and wakes in the night. Smurf is a rodent but she is so cute.
