On the Friday before our half term break the Parents Council threw us a party. As it was only 5 days to Halloween we were allowed to dress up. The teachers dressed up too. It was great fun. We had our photos taken in our costumes. Then we played some games. The games were Snap, Destiny, Bobbing for Apples, and Flour Tower. In Flour Tower a load of people wanted to dunk their heads in the flour. It got in our eyes. The Parents Council gave out buns and cakes. We also raised €455.00 for Telethon. It was a great achievement. It was also a great day.

I liked the Cake Sale we had at Halloween. There were a lot of cakes. I may have felt sick after all the cakes but I must say that they were tasty. There were Rice Krispie buns with a Smartie right in the middle and there were bags with loads of different chocolates in them. There were about 100 cakes. It was my favourite Cake Sale ever and the bags included Maltesers.

We came to school on Friday wearing our Halloween costumes. Our teacher told us that we were going to have a vote for the best costume. John won it from our class. Michael won it from the Junior Room.

On the day of the Cake Sale everyone brought in buns or a cake. During the day each class went to the school library and bought loads of buns and cakes really cheaply. We raised €455.00 for Telethon.
